About Paige

Paige brings to her clients the best of both California and Europe. Her clients come from many countries including Milano, London, Hong Kong, Senegal, and especially Paris. Influences come from all corners of the globe whether it be attending the Middle East Economic Forum in Istanbul, an exposition at San Francisco's Museum of Craft and Design, or foraging thru the works of Andrée Putman, Gae Aulenti and Gabriella Crespi whom she has admired since design school. This élan gives Paige a unique perspective and sensitivity to design, to her clients' desires, and to her clients' lifestyles. Paige is passionate about design, and believes in a sophisticated melange combining comfort and beauty, whimsical, classical and modern in an easy and relaxed style.

San Francisco Bay Area native, Paige Koch came to the world of interior design via the art world after showing her paintings to both private and corporate clients in the U.S. and abroad. Her experience working with the cultural division of an international organization in Paris gave her solid footing in France, and she currently maintains offices in Paris and San Francisco.

Paige completed the Master's program in Interior Architecture and Design at the University of California Berkeley. At the University of California Davis, Paige graduated with a Double Major obtaining a B.A. in Studio Art, Oil Painting (her favorite professor was Wayne Thiebaud) and a B.A. in World History with an emphasis on Russia and China. Prior to UC Davis, she studied Fashion Design: textiles and pattern making at Stephen’s College, and participated in workshops with Oscar de la Renta as well as other leading designers.

Paige's mother graduated from Manhattanville College of the Sacred Heart, and met her future husband in Washington D.C. Her father's parents lived between Europe, Guatemala, and San Francisco eventually settling in the Los Altos Hills. "I am so grateful for my mother's East Coast sensibilities... her elegance and intellect, her love of culture, and her love of the French language. We were raised with the arts and museums, the love for weekend exploring trips, lectures by Rosamond Bernier, and dinner every night from a different country. Of the Bay Area, our father would say " this is the best place to live AND it is the best kept secret." Well, the cat is out of the bag, isn't it! Our father knew Joseph Eichler, the real estate developer, when he was building these simple homes with a completely new concept... living both indoors and outdoors... taking advantage of vistas, the sunlight, soft breezes, exposed beams, and creating atriums. The architect, Brandon Jorgensen, takes California modern architecture to an unprecedented level of authenticity with his innate understanding of the earth, the rocks, the golden hills, the Mediterranean climate, and the unparalleled scale and beauty of Mother Nature herself. It is exciting to watch our world especially the San Francisco Bay Area, and how interior design, industrial design, architecture, and landscape design are evolving while appreciating and respecting the past... pushing boundaries while putting its own unique touch to create the beauty of our era."
